 Samsung Galaxy S21

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is a series of smartphones based on Android 4 designed, manufactured, sold and manufactured by Samsung Electronics as part of the Galaxy S series. The program was launched on January 14, 2021 at Samsung's Unpacked Samsung event released on January 29, 2021.

Line Up

The setup includes three devices, the Galaxy S21 costs less on a smaller screen size. Unlike the Galaxy S20 +, the Galaxy S21 + S21 is standard, with larger displays instead of plastic, extra battery life, with the exception of the rear glass. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a limited screen size, battery life, and improvements to other models, featuring a large 108MP sensor with laser autofocus and a high 1440p display. Includes advanced camera setup. The S21 is also the first phone in the Ultra Galaxy S series to support the S Pen, although it sells on its own and is limited.

Specification

Hardware

Chipset

The S21 line consists of three models with different hardware specifications. International and Korean models of the S21 use Exynos system-on-chip, while US, Canada, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japanese models use Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

Display

The S21 series features a "Dynamic AMOLED 2X" display with HDR10+ support and "Dynamic Tone Mapping" technology. All models use the second generation ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Storage

The S21 and S21+ offer 8GB of RAM, along with 128GB and 256GB options for internal storage. The S21 Ultra has 12GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB options, and a 16GB option with 512GB of internal storage. All three models do not have the microSD card slot found in the S20 series.

battery

The S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra contain non-removable 4000mAh, 4800mAh and 5000mAh Li-Po batteries respectively. All three models support wired charging via USB-C at up to 25W (with USB Power Delivery) and Qi inductive charging up to 15W. Additionally, the phone can charge other Qi-compatible devices up to 4.5W on the S21's own battery power, which is branded "Wireless PowerShare".

Connectivity

All three phones support 5G SA/NSA networks, the Galaxy S21 and S21+ support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The S21+ and S21 Ultra models also support Ultra Wideband (UWB) for NFC-like short-range communications (not to be confused with the 5G mmWave sold by Verizon as Ultra Wideband). Samsung uses this technology for its new "SmartThings Find" feature and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy SmartTag+.

Camera

The S21 and S21+ have similar camera settings as their predecessors, but benefit from improved software and image processing. Both have a 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 64MP telephoto sensor with 3x hybrid zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The S21 Ultra has a new HM3,108MP sensor with several enhancements over the previous HM1,108MP sensor, including 12-bit HDR. It also has two 10MP telephoto sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra wide angle sensor. The front camera uses a 10MP sensor from the S21 and S21+ and a 40MP sensor from the S21 Ultra. 4K60 recording is supported by the S21 and S21+'s ultra-wide cameras and all S21 Ultra's cameras. Except for the 12MP Ultra Wide on the S21 Ultra and the front 10MP on the S21 and S21+, all cameras are all Samsung made by Sony.

The Galaxy S21 series records HDR10+ videos and supports HEIF.

Software

All three phones run on Android 11 based Samsung's custom skin One UI 3.1.
